Four Arrested in Attempted Murder Case in Hubballi

Hubballi: The Old Hubballi Police have arrested four individuals in connection with an attempted murder case in the Bankers Colony area. The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon when a woman was attacked with a machete.

According to the police, Abhishek Bilana from Heggeri had provided financial assistance to two women, Pallavi and Suvarna, residents of Bankers Colony. During this time, Abhishek reportedly developed a close relationship with Suvarna. When Pallavi informed Suvarna’s family about their relationship, Suvarna and Abhishek allegedly planned to retaliate. They procured a machete with the help of Abhishek’s friends, Abhishek Shikkaligar and Prajwal Ghodake, and attacked Pallavi in an attempt to kill her.

Following the incident, a case was registered, and a special team led by the Old Hubballi Police Station Inspector arrested the accused—Abhishek Bilana, Suvarna Jare, Abhishek Shikkaligar, and Prajwal Ghodake—and presented them before the court. Further investigations are underway.
